Prior to launching the BlueRunner Solutions E-Voucher Platform, Michelin-starred restaurant The Kitchin in trendy Edinburgh operated a manual voucher system. What The Kitchin team wanted was a fully automated system and as a result they launched the BlueRunner Solutions E-Voucher Platform in December 2015.

The launch of the BlueRunner Solutions E-Voucher Platform has been a great success for The Kitchin Restaurant and has been a welcome introduction to the operation, saving money and driving incremental sales.


From an operational point of view the BlueRunner Solutions E-Voucher Platform has been a great introduction, as the voucher process is now managed centrally by head office and the teams locally can focus on service delivery. The platform has made the voucher process more efficient and has cut labour time and costs. The year on year comparison shows a large increase in the number of vouchers we have sold since the introduction of the platform, which demonstrates that it has had a positive impact on our sales. From a guest point of view, the vouchers look great, have that wow factor and can be delivered instantly with a personalised message. We have always worked in partnership with the BlueRunner team and I have always found everyone very friendly, helpful and conscientious.
